Radio ID roster

Digital Individual IDs for the local conventional ASTRO network. Program the 4-character ID in CPS under ASTRO System → Individual ID. Program the Soft ID under Radio Configuration → Radio Wide. See the TMS join settings.

IDs are 4 characters, 0001 through FFFF, the same form as an MDC1200 code. Use the code as shown, including leading zeros and letters. An ID that is already listed is taken. The Soft ID column is the text name other radios put in their Data User List. A Soft ID already listed is taken. Ask Devin (KJ7OES) before you program an open ID or a new Soft ID.

Last updated: October 2026. Taken IDs still need a ham call sign. Soft ID names are recorded in the Soft ID column. Any other 4-character ID stays open until someone asks for it. Excel may drop leading zeros; this page keeps them.
